Wisdom teeth

Yesterday I went in to get my wisdom teeth taken out. I had to wait through pretty much my whole pregnancy with Autumn with sore teeth, so was quite glad to get them out. I don't know why, but I was nervous about it all, even more nervous than when I went in for my Caesars. I think its because there's NOTHING joyful about taking out your teeth. When your done with it all they just throw them away, whereas with a Caesar you have this wonderful little baby to cuddle which makes the pain all worth it. :)

On the way to the hospital at 6am, there was a huge BOAT in the middle of the freeway blocking all the lanes except one! It was quite a hilarious sight. The bridge you see in the background was my exit....and I had to wait quite a long time to get there...

The news reports were saying that someone was probably trying to make a statement about global warming. Needless to say the boat made me very late for my appointment!

The anesthesiologist came to talk to me and asked if I had any questions, so I just asked how long I'd be under, side effects etc. He told me there would be a tube down my throat, and I asked why, and he said because I'd stop breathing, and they would have to put me on a ventilator......WHAT? Once he said stop breathing I freaked out quite a lot. And he seemed surprised, and said everything would be fine. It's crazy that they can give you drugs to stop your breathing, and your totally fine.

Well, everything was. I woke up dreaming about Autumn and Noah playing when they were older, and was minus 4 teeth! I still don't have any chubby cheeks either like everyone warned me about. And Clint did an awesome job looking after both kids for the morning, and I can keep feeding Autumn as usual and it won't affect her at all. So....it wasn't as bad as I thought!
